Your PC game library, like an SD card
Net SD card shows the games on your PC to your emulators as if they were on the SD card. No root, no copying by hand.
Coming soon to Google Play. Free 7-day trial, then $2.99 one time. Android 13 or newer.
How it works
Three steps, and only the first game waits on the network.
Point it at your PC
Tell Net SD card where your game folder lives on your PC. It asks one question per screen.
Open a game
The first time you open a game, the whole game downloads to your device.
Just play
Played games stay, old ones make room, and your saves go back to the PC.
Features
Your whole library
Every game on your PC shows up in your emulator as if it were on the SD card. You add a folder the usual way.
Whole game, once
The first time you open a game, it is copied to the device. After that it starts from local storage, so it runs like any game on your SD card.
Keeps what you play
Recently played games stay on the device. When the space for games fills up, the least recently played ones are removed. You never clean up by hand.
Saves go to your PC
Your save files sync to the PC, so progress survives removing a game or switching devices.
Works away from home
Use the official Tailscale app and your library follows you, on the bus or on a trip.
One question at a time
A guided setup shows one question per screen. There is no settings form to fill in. No root needed.
Works with
Built for the emulators most handheld guides recommend, such as RetroArch, Dolphin, DuckStation, PPSSPP, and Eden. Setup also connects the ES-DE, Pegasus, and Daijisho game launchers (frontends). Each emulator adds its system folder the usual way and sees your games as local files. Your games can live in a shared folder (SMB) on a Windows PC, a Mac, a Linux computer, or a NAS.

Questions
Do I need root?
No. Net SD card works without root on Android 13 or newer.
Which Android versions work?
Android 13 and newer, on handhelds and phones.
What is SMB?
It is the way Windows, NAS boxes, and many other computers share a folder over your home network (SMB, short for Server Message Block). If you can open a shared folder on your PC from another computer, the PC already shares in this way.
Can I use it away from home?
Yes, through Tailscale. Install the official Tailscale app on your device and your PC, and your library is reachable from anywhere. Net SD card does not replace Tailscale.
What happens when my device fills up?
The space for games fills, and Net SD card removes the least recently played games to make room. Your saves are already on the PC.
Can I try before paying?
Yes. There is a free 7-day trial, then a one-time $2.99 license (Pro).
